BlakkEngine Announcement
BlakkEngine, the previously secret technology behind our upcoming game BlackSeeds is now being reconstructed *yet again*. This new BlakkEngine is actually a complete engine and not just a bunch of random classes and functions thrown together because of my laziness. This entire engine actually revolves around networking and I’m taking every aspect to incorporate it to the point where a developer won’t even have to touch a single line of network code. Idealistically.
Anyways, I plan on using it for future 2D games and I’ll be releasing the source sometime in the future as well (Since I’m a I’ll-make-it-open-source-eventually-coder).
I’ll post some screens and videos later of it. After this, I’ll be building Blackseeds off of it. (I’m still using a lot of old engine code in BlakkEngine from Blackseeds Unofficial engine so it shouldn’t take long. 
).
Recent Downtime
Sorry for the recent day of downtime, I went in to do daily maintance on this site’s VPS and I accidentally deleted some important files and brought some quite important processes and services down. It’s all fixed now and the site should be running just as smooth as it was before.
Moral of this story, even though backups may seem like a waste of time at first, they really save your ass when you need them.
Site Updated!
Yeah, as you have may or may not noticed, I completely re-did the site and all of it’s pages.
The design is fresh and new (not so much ugly orange and the stupid anime figure on the banner), and a social portal has been added for people who wanna chat and get to know the community.
A forum may or may not be coming in the future as well. The domain also got renewed near new years and production is well under way on Blackseeds.
Blackseeds dev grinds to halt. Rebuilding in progress.
Blackseeds is being rebuilt from the ground up due to a major flaw found in the software. It will take way too long to correct it, so we are starting anew. There are many other reasons for this decision, but progress should go faster now.
We are first starting with the menu systems and network core instead of the graphics core as well.
WordPress site Setup!
Well, after being too lazy/busy to set up my own CMS for this site, I’ve decided just to make it a simple wordpress blog.
Theme is a hybrid of two themes I couldn’t choose from (I liked them both), and I structured it quite to my standards.
I’ll update this development blog later in life..
